Poem by Clara Janés to Alfredo García
From the book "Hidden Variables" ("Variables Ocultas")“To whom that sings, he has been granted the gift of loquacity.
He has crossed the seven gates, Knows all their
and their shadows And recovered his heart.
The horse who slept in the small boat, Galloped upon it,
Never straying away from the mouth of the rive.”
