The Teatro Real brings again “The Knight of the Sad Figure” by Tomás Marco
In January of 2016 and in co-production with the Teatro Real and the Teatros del Canal de Madrid, the opera of “The Knight of the Sad Figure “ will be brought new to the stage. 2016 commemorates the 400th aniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes (b. Alcala de Henares, 29th September , 1547- d.Madrid, 22nd April, 1616).
This opera which premiered in December 2005 has toured the stages of Teatro de Abadía de Madrid, Festival de Almagro, Teatro Cervantes de Alcalá de Henares and Festival Cervantino de Guanajuato (México).
